Celebrate the Season of Creation and learn how soil health can balance the climate, replenish our water supplies and feed the earth.
Every year Christians around the world celebrate the Season of Creation by praying and acting together to protect our common home. This year, the Indianapolis Eastside Creation Care Network invites you to join us in watching this documentary film narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, offering a viable solution to the climate crisis.
Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world's soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize the Earth's climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, along with footage from NASA and NOAA, the film illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.
The film screening will be followed by discussion about regenerative agriculture, soil health, and more resources about gardening and purchasing practices that can help balance the climate, protect water supplies and feed the world.
REGISTRATIONS ARE LIMITED TO ACCOUNT FOR SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES. TEMPERATURES WILL BE TAKEN UPON ENTRY, AND MASKS ARE REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.
