Description
Open to the public! The Recycled Art Sale includes thousands of pieces of art that have been donated to TAC to benefit all our programs. Join us for opening weekend! Imagine an upscale Parisian flea market buzzing with art pieces and vintage treasures for the lucky discoverers to keep and bring home. This is what will be happening under a large tent on the front lawn of The Art Center Highland Park! The variety of items is vast and high quality, including paintings, prints, ceramics, decorative objects, vintage posters, silver, antiques, sculpture, art glass, jewelry, and more. The 33rd annual Recycled Art Sale will run from October 15th to 23rd; Monday through Saturday, 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday 12 pm -4 pm. This event supports scholarships, outreach programs, exhibition expenses, community events, and everything else The Art Center does! In addition, it allows members of our community to find beautiful pieces at a fraction of the cost, and prevents artwork from finding its way to the landfill. The Art Center, in turn, is proud to recycle art to Community Partners for Affordable Housing, Designs for Dignity, Chicago Furniture Bank and other local non-for profits. These are General Admission tickets for opening weekend. Tickets can be used at any time during opening weekend, and are valid for unlimited use.
