Hiring a mid day dog walker Monday-Friday for The Dog Walker -- Houston, TX We are an established dog walking service in Houston with a large client base, looking to hire a part time dog walker/pet sitter. If you love being outdoors, getting exercise and working with dogs of all breeds then this is the job for you. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Comfortable with ALL dog breeds and personalities. 2. Must have experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments 3. Must be willing to work in ALL weather conditions - dogs still have to go out rain or shine. 4. Must have a cell phone and access to email and have excellent written and verbal communication skills 5. Be able to commit for the future. I am looking to build a staff that my clients can rely on for the long term. 6. Self- motivated 7. Must be DEDICATED and VERY ORGANIZED and willing to occasionally go out of your way for your clients. 8. Have reliable transportation to travel from client to client. Also it is required:- You be available between 9:30am-3/3:30pm Monday thru Friday. You are able to commit for at least the next 6 months to the position. It's ideal if you live inside the loop, but not required. Pay is based on amount of dog walks per day @ $9 per stop (average 2 stops per hour typically). We have an opening for for a part time or closer to full time schedule of stops. There are also opportunities for pet sitting and weekend walking, but it is not mandatory of the position.
