First 5 of SLO & South County Youth Coalition are sponsoring a parent participation style learning pod series for parents of babies 12-24 mo FOR BABIES 12-24 MONTHS AND THEIR PARENT(S) Each week parents and babies will learn together by participating in activities to promote learning on topics including: nutrition, gross motor, imaginative play, art, music, mindfulness & brain based parenting. Local experts will offer guidance and support using learn by doing methods. Learning pods are outside at Strother Park in Arroyo Grande. Parents are asked to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. 7 SESSIONS ON MONDAYS: SEPTEMBER 20, 27, OCTOBER 4, 11, 18, 25, NOVEMBER 1 from 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM AT STROTHER PARK, ARROYO GRANDE. Parents must commit to enroll in the entire seven week series. Snacks are provided. Child care for siblings available upon request. Space is limited. This class is given in English.
