COUGAR CONTRACTING LLC is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as FLAGGERS/TRAFFIC CONTROL/LABORERS in Lee, Charlotte & Collier Counties. FLAGGER/TRAFFIC CONTROL/LABORER -- You are responsible for directing cars and machinery, so you need to have a keen sense of your surroundings, strictly observe safety regulations, and be willing to work in all weather conditions, especially heat. Duties and Responsibilities: Direct traffic around your job site Keep workers aware of traffic conditions Place warning signs to alert drivers Remove signs, cones, and barriers after the job is complete Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools while distributing them to the appropriate locations Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials with appropriate training provided Understand and comply with safety considerations as set herein and as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must currently reside in Charlotte, Lee or Collier Counties Must have previous experience working in a construction environment Flagger/MOT experience a plus Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsites located within Southwest Florida Must be legally able to work in the United States TO APPLY: (With an updated (as of 2021) resume) submit via this advertisement (Without resume) apply in person at the office - 1841 Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33905 NOTE: New hire orientation is conducted at the office located on Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers Cougar Contracting LLC is an Equal Employee Opportunity Employer.
