UD Science Field Experience Day University of Dubuque starts with you. Get to know UD at our Science Field Experience Visit Day at Wolter Woods and Prairies. There’s a lot we could tell you about the sciences at UD, but there’s no substitute for seeing it for yourself. Our Science Field Experience Visit Day on Saturday, September 25 will offer you the opportunity to experience UD’s Wolter Woods and Prairies – 121 acres of unglaciated land that overlooks the Mississippi. The land contains woodlands, native Iowa prairie land, a sustainable garden, and access to the river bottom providing exceptional educational and research opportunities. You’ll have a chance to see our excellent facilities, meet faculty, talk with other students, see the UD campus, get the inside scoop on admission and financial planning, and get a feel for what it’s like to be part of our diverse UD community. It also gives us a chance to get to know more about you!
