The Piano Guys are looking for a strong guy who can help us move and deliver pianos! We train you in using our equipment and it's not as hard as it sounds, but you should be strong enough to deadlift 250 lbs at times, and get it up 6" onto a dolly. Job is 1-2 days a week right now, and could quickly move to 3-4 days for the right person. The best candidates will be reliable workers who show up on time, have their own transportation, and also have their own medical insurance. You also have to be able to be polite and respectful around a variety of customers, as well as a team player who can get along with one or more partners. Really good guys, all of them. For that we will pay at least $15/hr, or up to $18/hr starting wages, depending on experience and related skills. We run a drug-free, alcohol-free operation, and it is also tobacco-free, so be honest about that. Can be hot work at times, but much of the time is inside air conditioning, and most of the hardest lifts are separated by considerable times of driving to new sites. Expect a background check, too. And we do masks and plenty of COVID protocols to keep everyone safe, so don't bother if you're not willing to comply with some of those inconveniences for a while. Most workers who find us never want to leave. The work is actually easier (with the harder parts spread out) than many labor jobs. And it's nice working around good people, and bringing the joy of music into people's homes. Even more opportunities for guys with clean driving record and ability to back a trailer, and possibly guys can pick up some extra hours on woodwork or cleaning tasks if desired. $100 Signing bonus for anyone able to start this week! This would be a perfect job for someone going to school part-time, or working around another part-time job. Guaranteed you'll like it better than other part-time labor jobs you'll find, and there will be a chance to grow to more days, possibly very quickly. Must be able to get to Venice each work day, and will travel various places from there in company vehicles.
