Description
We are doing it again... for the third year in a row! On Sunday, October 3rd, 2021, the harvest tables will once again be set down the center of Chestnut Avenue outside of Bricker-Price Block in downtown Earlham, Iowa for our third annual Harvest Gathering Farm-to-Table Dinner. Social hour will begin at 5:30 PM, followed by the first course promptly beginning at 6 PM. The Harvest Gathering Farm-to-Table Dinner will include three passed appetizers and four courses of locally produced, fall favorites sourced and prepared by Chef James Arbaugh of Lua Brewing and paired with local craft beverages from Revelton Distillery and Lua Brewing. Courtney Krause will provide an acoustic performance alongside the dinner to create the perfect ambiance for the evening that will conclude around 9 PM. The mission of our farm-to-table dinner is to not only honor our agricultural roots but to also celebrate all of the programming and events that take place in our community event venue at Bricker-Price Block. This much anticipated event sold out in nine minutes in 2019. Restored inside and out, our historic event venue Bricker-Price Block serves as the cornerstone for renewed community life in Earlham and Madison County, extending a friendly welcome to guests from Central Iowa and beyond. On the ground floor is one of the area’s newest destination dining spot, Beans & Beignets with the mission to create joy and friendships over good food, coffee and ice cream. Upstairs, the Hadley Family Social Club, with its classic arched windows, tall tin ceilings and refinished wood floors, is a beautiful setting for birthday parties, weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, wedding or bridal showers, fundraisers, corporate meetings and any other special life events. Our community event venue is also host to unique events like our annual Harvest Gathering Farm-to-Table Dinner and our Family-Friendly & Late Night Trivia Events. The proceeds from these events go right back to providing affordable programming for our youth during our Kid’s Club Summer Camps and for our local senior citizens through our Senior Speaker Series.
