This will sell out fast. Sarah Siskind has a once-in-a-generation voice. It's rich...pure...emotive. When listening to her song "Carolina", you'll notice nuances of Joni Mitchell and Alison Krauss, yet when you dive deeper into her catalogue you're captivated by her own, unique voice, speaking truth and love and pain all at the same time. You can tell she is a person who has lived, loved and hurt and felt every moment of it. Sarah has found much success on Bluegrass and Country radio. She has written hit songs for Allison Krauss, Randy Travis, Della Mae and many others. She has collaborated with artists such as Bon Iver, showing that her talent cannot be confined to just one genre. Sarah comes to Birdsong via the recommendation of Liam Bailey, the leader of Two Bird Stone. Liam, who now resides in Hickory, is a true pro. He has a voice like Paul McCartney (and a wry smile too) with the additional skills of playing banjo, violin, and guitar as good as anyone around. Liam has toured as a professional musician for two decades with national acts and now he's exploring his own unique sound with influences from old world and Appalachian music. Liam's band, Two Bird Stone, features stellar musicians who support him with pitch perfect harmonies. The energy they bring is quite contagious.
