Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Plaza West Covina with Grammy Award winning performers! Welcome back, shoppers! We are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in partnership with the City of West Covina. Plaza West Covina is proud to present Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar, Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles, and West Covina's Ballet Folklorico International. You may recognize our dancers from the 90th Annual Academy Awards in celebration of the Pixar movie, Coco, also performing at the D23 Expo, the Coco Premiere at the El Capitan Theater, and “Disney Night” on DWTS working alongside Natalia Lafourcade, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Miguel as they sang the award-winning “Remember Me”. Both performers were selected for a 2017 production by the “mitú” network in which they teamed with Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles to recreate “Tale as Old as Time” from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Plan to bring your beach/lawn chairs for the entire family. Performance begin at 2 PM, attendees will be admitted at 1:30 PM.
