Description
I’m currently working on a prototype, full stack website, and thought it would be helpful to guide a beginner or novice through it, as it would be an extremely easy and concise example of the most basic elements:
Front end - html, css
Restful routine - node and express
PostgreSQL database
Even with zero experience, this will establish the root elements of full stack development, bringing it all together so you don’t have to learn a bunch of things without knowing what you’re learning (which is boring).
My background is in neuroscience (learning especially) and I’ve begun switching careers to pursue an application I’ve been working on.
I think that by teaching someone else my simple app, there will be mutual benefit, as I’ll better memorize more details by showing someone else.
Trust me, I can promise this will be a faster way to get the basics down than you find anywhere else.
I merely need a commitment of roughly one hour per day, five days per week, and in at least 1 month you will know enough full stack to learn for yourself by creating your own content, creatively, for yourself.
