Medicine Woman and Master Herbalist: Kathy's Medicinal Mint Family (Lamaiceae) Class on Pineapplemint, Applemint, and Spearmint Join Medicine Woman and Master Herbalist Kathy in observing three mint varieties (pineapple, apple and spearmint) and not only learning various ways of preserving them but also when to harvest, how to dry, what benefits they provide and more! This class will cover what traditional medicinal uses they have. We will be making herbal oil, discuss how to turn that into a salve, and make a tincture in alcohol. Each participant will take home a 4oz jar of each as well as a cutting in soil. Pots and pretties will be available for purchase if desired. The cost of the class is $30.
