The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach will be hosting the 3rd annual, (minus Covid year), fall fundraising event, the FL-GA Bash! The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach will be hosting the 3rd annual, (minus Covid year), fall fundraising event, the FL-GA Bash on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Fernandina Beach Recreation Center. We promise A Lil’ bit of Florida, A Lil’ Bit of Georgia, and a Whole Lot of FUN! Dinner, dancing, live music by Vox, cash bar, silent and live auction and more... Please join us as a sponsor and attendee. The year, our goal is to raise $10,000, to benefit the GFWC special program, “Kicks for Kids”. The purpose of this program is to get shoes to local kids in need! There are children in our community, who are in need of a good, quality, pair of shoes that fit. Having the right shoes gives children confidence, a boost in self esteem, and the opportunity to focus in school, on the lesson, instead of thinking about their hurting feet. We look forward to seeing you at THE BEST tailgate party of the year, to help change a child’s life with a new pair of shoes! Each ticket holder is asked to bring a new pair of shoes to the event.
