Ristau, “Return to the Big Skies: Miss Montana to Normandy” “Miss Montana” is a 77-year old DC-3 aircraft that, against all odds, was fully restored in under a year by a dedicated group of volunteers so she could be flown to Normandy, France for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion. This inspirational, amazing, true story will bring laughter and tears and will leave you full of pride for what is arguably Montana’s most famous airplane. The screening honors the volunteers who worked thousands of hours to return Miss Montana to the skies.
