Training on Implementing Treatement for Youth with Co-Occurring Issues. There is no cost for this training and lunch is being provided.
Treatment services for youth living with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED) who may have or be at risk for co-occurring Substance Use Disoder (SUD) have improved in recent years. However, an opportunity exists to broaden the availability and utilization of these services. For this reason, knowledge and implementation of interventions to improve engagement and treatment in clinical settings are essential. This training presents three evidence based practices that engage and improve outcomes for youth with co-occurring SED and substance misuse or SUD. These approaches will assist clinicians to understand, select, and implement evidence-based interventions that support youth. Please join us on September 10th from 10am-noon with lunch provided from noon-1pm. There is no cost for this training.
