Marine Mechanics (Journeyman and Apprentice Levels) Locally owned marine engine repair shop, looking for an experienced journey level technician. Qualifications: -Experience with Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, and marine engine drive systems encouraged. -Relevant marine diesel experience is not required but encouraged (Cummins, Yanmar, Caterpillar, Detroit, Perkins, etc.) -Have a strong work ethic and be self directed -Be able to work 40 hour weeks in a physically demanding environment, some overtime may be required -Have a good driving record -Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills is preferred but not a requirement -Computer diagnostic experience or ability preferred but not a requirement -Have a professional appearance and attitude with integrity and reliability After a trial period: Company paid medical plan Paid vacation and holidays We are looking for long-term career minded people and offer full time, year round stable employment
