VIENNA, VA — Mo:Mo House, a Nepali restaurant on Vienna's Maple Avenue, announced its upcoming closure. In a social media post, the owners said Mo:Mo House will permanently close on Saturday, Aug. 28. Patch reached out to the restaurant for comment on the reason for the closing. "We want to thank you, our amazing customers, for your unwavering support over the years, through thick and thin," states a post on Mo:Mo House's Facebook page. "We feel very fortunate for having known you, your family and friends. We've made many great friends, had a lot of fun times, and shared many life stories." Mo:Mo House, owned by the Basnet family, features various Nepali specialities, but Mo:Mo House is named after momos, or Nepali-style dumplings.
