WESTFIELD, NJ — Among details of police reports released by Westfield officials last week, police have charged an Ewing man, 27, with burglarizing a Westfield business.
Mayor Shelley Brindle said last week that according to police, a business located on the 200 block of West North Avenue was burglarized during the early morning hours on Thursday, Aug. 5.
A review of security camera footage showed that a man appeared to force his way into the business through the doorway at 1:18 a.m. Damage was observed to the front door.
The owners reported $80 missing from the cash register, according to officials.
Chief Battiloro said that the Westfield Police Department has charged Isaia N. Parker, age 27, with a last known address in Ewing, with burglary and theft. He was served with a complaint-summonses and a court appearance is pending in Superior Court.
