BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Free vaccination clinics for Baltimore County Public Schools students will be held through the end of September at sites across the county. School starts for BCPS students in approximately two weeks. "We cannot wait to have students back in class for full-time, in person learning for the 2021-2022 school year," BCPS Superintendent Darryl L. Williams said. "We know that many families have a lot to do to get ready for the new school year. We want to be sure that getting children properly immunized is near the very top of that list." The Baltimore County Department of Health is offering the following back-to-school immunization clinics: Wednesday, August 25, from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Baltimore Highlands-Lansdowne Health Center, 3902 Annapolis Road, 21227 Woodlawn Health Center, 6901 Security Blvd., 21244 Saturday, August 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Eastern Family Resource Center, 9150 Franklin Square Drive, 21237 Woodlawn Health Center, 6901 Security Blvd., 21244 Saturday, September 18, from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Eastern Family Resource Center, 9150 Franklin Square Drive, 21237 Woodlawn Health Center, 6901 Security Blvd., 21244 Walk-in appointments for school immunizations will be accepted at all seven health centers daily from Aug. 30 until Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at: Baltimore Highlands-Lansdowne Health Center, 3902 Annapolis Road, 21227 Dundalk Health Center, 7700 Dunmanway, 21222 Eastern Family Resource Center, 9150 Franklin Square Drive, 21237 Essex Health Center, 201 Back River Neck Road, 21221 Hannah More Health Center, 12035 Reisterstown Road, 21136 Liberty Family Resource Center, 3525 Resource Drive, 21133 Woodlawn Health Center, 6901 Security Blvd., 21244 Free vaccines are available for those who have medical assistance or Maryland Children's Health Program, have no health insurance, have health insurance that does not pay for vaccine, are 18 years old or younger or attend a Baltimore County Department of Health Mass Vaccine Clinic. Even children covered by health insurance can be seen at one of the clinics. BCPS students have 20 days from the first day of school to get all required immunizations or they will not be allowed in school.
