MORRISTOWN, NJ — Zoom meetings will remain the norm for a little longer. Morristown delayed its return to in-person town meetings until Oct. 1.
The town has conducted meetings virtually throughout the pandemic and originally planned to return in-person Sept. 1. Masks are currently required inside Town Hall, regardless of vaccination status.
Sixty-seven percent of all ages and 76 percent of adults in Morristown are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. The town saw 20 new cases from Aug. 13 to Tuesday, according to Morris County officials.
