ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis Dunkin' will offer free coffee Thursday during its grand reopening ceremony. The remodeled restaurant officially returned to business on Aug. 7, but it saved the giveaways for the main event. The eatery will give free coffee for a year to the first 50 adult customers in line at 9 a.m. All patrons can get one free medium hot or iced coffee from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. This timeframe will also feature: A prize wheelA DJPhoto opportunities with Dunkin' mascot Cuppy An appearance from The Oriole Bird mascot Franchise owner Hemal Patel will host the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Alongside the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, Patel will give a $1,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. Dunkin' representatives will also present a $35,000 ceremonial check to the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. The money came from Dunkin's Iced Coffee Day fundraiser held throughout the Baltimore area this May. Highlights of the remodeled Annapolis store, located at 2004 West Street, include: A modern designA mobile ordering pickup stationA dedicated drive-thru lane for customers who ordered aheadPremium coffee machinesIncreased energy efficiency The 1,8000-square-foot shop employees 10 workers.
