Sweet Nelly looking for forever home.

Nelly is a rottweiler staffordshire bull terrier mix. She needs someone that is home 24/7. Or willing to take her everywhere they go. She needs to be the only dog at first till she is comfortable with you. She has had many dog friends. But she is a dominant dog. She needs a lot of time to learn how to socialize. She hasn't had it. So she is scared of everything. She needs someone that knows the breed and willing to work to get her to a comfortable stage. She can walk on leash. She will bark at anyone knew. Her bark sounds scarier then it is. She most likely will need a couple visits before she can trust you to go home with you. She is a handful. She has lots of energy. She loves sleeping in bed with you. She does good around chickens. No problems there. Unless she is on the other side of glass then attacks the glass when the chickens are on the other side. But when outside with them she doesn't care lol. She is not a outside dog. She will stay out there for a few hours but I am home 24/7 and she has been use to that for the past 5 years. She needs a understanding parent and one willing to not give up on her when times are tough. If she ever went to the pound, they will kill her. I can't have that.
