Our company is looking to employ an experienced seamstress / production worker with an eye for detail. Job Requirements • Experienced and able to mend, alter, and stripe garments. • Must have proven sewing experience and the ability to use different types of sewing machines. • Ability to work under time constraints and work flexible schedule as needed. • Can demonstrate effective communication skills and be able to take instruction. • Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques. • Able to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs. Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Ensure that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order • Stripe uniform pants • Hem Pant legs Production responsibilities include but not limited to: • Check in merchandise from suppliers • Trim excess thread from garments embroidered • Steam garments • Fold and prep garments for shipping • Pack all merchandise for shipment to customer Seamstress qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent • Experience operating an industrial sewing machine • Excellent sewing skills • Detail oriented • Team player We offer paid holidays and vacation.
