Description

GLENDORA, CA — A small group of protestors held a rally at Sellers Elementary School on Monday against requiring students to wear face coverings when they return for on-campus instruction, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. Protestors argued that it should be a parent's choice whether their child should wear a face covering while at school, not the district. However, that decision isn't actually up to the district, according to the Valley Tribune. Glendora Unified School District Board President Zondra Borg told the paper the mandate comes from both California's and Los Angeles County's public health departments. The decision is out of the district's hands, she said. The first day of school for Glendora Unified is Wednesday.
