Press release from the City of Alameda: August 24, 2021 Online storytimes include: Mother Goose on the Loose, a structured program designed to engage babies, toddlers, and their favorite adults with rhymes, songs, and stories.A new storytime for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5 includes fingerplays, songs, and stories and will be uploaded each Tuesday.A new storytime for school-aged kids ages 4-8 includes longer stories and some non-fiction and will be uploaded every Wednesday.The library will also continue its virtual programming for older children, including Storybook Crafts and First Chapter Fridays. embedded on the Children's Activities page of the library's website All library programs are free and open to the public.
