Brush Fires Shut Down Kanan Road

AGOURA HILLS, CA —The Los Angeles County Fire Department battled two small brush fires at Kanan Road and Troutdale Drive that closed all lanes of Kanan Road shortly after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters managed to hold the blazes to a quarter acre, stopping its forward progress by 2:40 p.m. Firefighters responded to brush fires at two spots on the north and south side of Troutdale Drive. No structures have been threatened, according to the City of Malibu Emergency Services. Roads are expected to reopen shortly. This is a developing story. Please refresh the screen for updates.
