Other locations have seen a rise in covid-19 cases as well. Pinellas County reported 521 cases among students, while in Sarasota there have been 227 reported and in Manatee that figure stands at 480, according to the same source. Among children, cases are up as well with over 31,700 new cases reported last week among those 19 years old or younger. While hospitals in Several cities are running at maximum capacities 75 doctors in South Florida protested in the street as their hospitals are flooded with unvaccinated people who got Covid-19. One hospital in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday August 20, had admitted 39 unvaccinated pregnant women, and ten of them are currently under intensive care and seven are in ICU. Meanwhile, new data from Atlanta department shows that nearly 2,000 children have tested positive for COVID-19 per day while school districts in Atlanta, have reported over 13,000 positive cases overall among students, kids and teenagers. The virus doesn’t kill our loved ones like a bullet. It doesn’t happen that fast. Indeed, it invades their body, their brain and especially their respiratory system until they can’t breathe and suffocates them slowly. Letting your loved ones catch COVID and die from it while there is a vaccine out there that can protect them, is equal to sticking a knife in their throat and watching them battling, gasping for air, and dying. It is like allowing your loved ones to receive a bullet in their chest without a bullet proof jacket while you have it at your disposal.
