BIRMINGHAM, AL — Mayor Randall Woodfin looks poised for re-election as he has carried more than 65 percent of the vote with more than 70 percent of the precincts reporting results. Woodfin's massive lead was maintained all night. Winning the election without a runoff was no small feat with eight candidates vying for the seat. However, even Woodfin's strongest challengers were unable to gain any ground on the incumbent. With 92 percent of the precincts reporting: Randall L.
