Part-Time Toddler Nanny

Kids

Cambridge WI

Description

A family in Cambridge Wisconsin is in need of a part-time nanny to care for their 18 month old boy. The schedule needed is Mondays and Tuesdays 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. They would like a nanny that has been vaccinated for Covid. The nanny’s duties include: caring for toddler while parents are working. The dad works outside the home, and the mom works from home. The care duties include diapers, potty training support, first aid as needed, feeding snacks and meals (mom will always prep ahead of time), and most importantly engaging in active play with the toddler. They are seeking a nanny that is present, engaged, and genuinely cares about the healthy development of children. The family has a really low tolerance for someone scrolling their phone while caring for their son. Presence, respect, and kindness are top priorities. The family’s discipline philosophy is respectful parenting. The toddler is smart and understands his expectations. The parents validate his emotions during hard moments, and ask him for his opinion or what he wants. They value his input and his emotions; Absolutely no "because I said so" or harmful behavior. The toddler loves spending time outside. The toddler LOVES to play outside and can for hours. He also loves music and books. He is VERY interactive and they ask that the nanny stay off her/his phone and engage with the toddler during time with him. The pay is negotiable and around $20 per hour. They are offering paid vacation, paid holidays, use of a vehicle during work hours, reimbursement for CPR and first-aid training, and the family is also happy to provide snacks and food for the nanny to eat while in the home. This position begins asap.
