I am a guitar player/singer /music producer who produces in Ableton live. On stage we’ll be playing playing too a click track, weaving in and out of backing tracks.A lot of people refer my music to, Milky chance, Vance joy, Trevor hall, Michael franti, glass animals…My sound is like pop/folk alternative influenced but on stage trying to get more more electric groovy sound. My other influences are classic rock, Grateful Dead, Hendrix, Khruangbin, FKJ, Tame impala. All that good stuff!I have professional equipment that includes a Large pedal board, vocal mics, Ableton live, Ableton push, Apc40, Telefunken condenser mic, PA & Sub, IEM set up etc. I do not have a studio but what I’m thinking is that I share an ableton set for us to practice and than we can just do some weekly rehearsals at a studio in town.*Trying to establish a tour for the upcoming fall. (October & November). I do have a show that I’m playing Aug 27th in MA at Levitate Backyard opening for The Elevators. We take band members’ favorite songs – old, new and original - and rearrange them as Motown/R&B/Soul renditions. We have received a lot of positive feedback from past performances and hope to get rolling with the end of the pandemic. The band currently includes bass guitar, drums, female vocals and flute, and male vocals.Open Mic for Musicians, and Singers...EVERY TUESDAY at the Black Bear Inn 310 19th Street (Rt 2), Watervliet, NY from 8PM to 12AM.I am looking to put together a three-piece rock band that would play dynamically and feature the vocals. The song list would include cover tunes and originals. The cover tunes would not be strictly arranged, but endings would always end well as the performers would be heads up musicians. The originals, would follow a stricter arrangement as I wish to do video and audio recording of those tunes. I would also like to play gigs on a limited basis, traveling light and not playing too late into the night. Depending on how things went I would also play piano on a set of songs.I have a practice place in Troy New York that is equipped with a PA system, drums and a bass amp. I am retired and would be able to set up a weekly practice at any time of day.My song list includes songs by Neil Young such as, hey hey my my, like a hurricane and down by the river: Grateful Dead tunes like new Speedway boogie, I know you Rider, and good loving.We are searching for a Guitarist that can play some quality guitar solos. Looking for someone who knows what they are doing, being able to play some crafty rhythm guitar, If you can give some decent backing vocals, that would be nice but it not a deal-breaker.We're also seeking a Bassist who knows his scales and rudiments. Our songs are designed to having moving basslines. Again the ability to do some backup vocals would be awesome but not a deal-breaker
