Installers needed- Cat 3, Cat5, Cat6 Installers (Austin) Start on Monday! Text this weekend, 512-801-5232 All work is local !! Do you have experience in the Cable Industry or need a little training? No Problem! We are expanding and are looking for entry level voice, data, and CAT5, CAT6 and fiber optic cabling installers to start today. This is a great opportunity for driven, detail oriented, hardworking Individuals. Work is inside !! Must pass a drug test. We will teach you !! Below is a list of areas you will be trained in. Lets get started. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Install phone/data/TV outlets, pull various cables including Cat3, Cat5, Cat6 twisted pair and RG6 coax., install penetrations, fire stopping and pre-termination including organizing. Test cabling to a required specification. Terminate, assemble and install 8-pin modular connectors and coaxial connectors. Test, diagnose and correct any problems. Determine closet and equipment layouts and install closet hardware including backboards, racks, patch panels and 66 blocks. Perform work in a safe manner and wear safety equipment as required on job site. Pulling, terminating, testing and labeling structured cable in existing and new construction environments. Experience in multi-tenant projects (apartments, hotels, senior living, etc.) is a plus. Read, understand building plans Properly suspend and dress cabling in a neat and professional manner. Maintain proper documentation and labeling of data cables. Maintain proper files and documentation as required by management. Other duties and projects assigned by management.
