Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical. Coordinate daily janitorial services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas. Perform day-to-day janitorial functions as assigned. Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments. Maintain all common area (hallways, dining rooms, lounges, lobby) carpets by regularly machine buffing with chemicals in accordance with the policy schedule. Vacuum all carpets as needed regularly throughout the day. Maintain carpets in resident rooms by machine buffing and/or shampooing on a scheduled basis. Maintain vinyl floor coverings and tile by regularly machine buffing. Assure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies, to perform daily tasks, are maintained in utility/janitorial closets. Extract carpets with chemicals using the extractor machine as needed. Strip and re-wax floors as needed. Spot clean soiled areas on walls. Clean windows, tracks and sills. Move housekeeping supplies and resident furniture. Carts are available. Heavy lifting up to 60 pounds is required. Assist in room preparation for resident move-in. Training is provided. This is a full-time position. We are open 24 hours, so we are looking for team members who are available on weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and English proficiency test. The successful candidate will be authorized to work in the United States.
