Our client in Torrance, a technical service vehicle company, is looking for 2 qualified Assembly Technicians. Long term assignment, possible temp to hire for the right candidate with a pay rate of $21 per hour. Duties: Follow procedures and drawings to prepare parts and sub-assemblies Check and prepare parts for outside services by deburring for surface preparation Perform minor machining of component parts to comply with fabrication drawings Notify Production Manager when supplies are low Maintain and encourage a clean and safe workplace Participate in and maintain physical inventory counts Deliver and pick up parts and supplies using company vehicles Skills: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Proficiency with common hand and power tools Experience with steel and aluminum fabrication Ability to deburr and sand steel and aluminum parts using hand tools
