Title: Client Accounting Clerk Reports To: Accounting Manager Location: Beverly Hills Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The Gersh Agency is seeking a highly motivated self-starter Client Trust Accounting Clerk to join our team in Beverly Hills. This role requires meticulous record-keeping and organization skills as well as an upbeat personality to keep Agents and the Accounting Managers of consistently abreast of client payment statuses. RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare client payments for processing • Track and monitor client payments • Communicate status updates on processed payments to Agents’ offices and other client representatives • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned • Be able to prioritize projects based upon the needs of the department and company as a whole JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree required • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion • Prior talent agency experience is recommended but not required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills • Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are paramount • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications ABOUT THE GERSH AGENCY: With offices in Beverly Hills and New York, Gersh maintains twelve full-service departments: Talent, Literary, Film Finance, Books, Comedy, Theater, Production, Alternative, Digital, Branding, Commercial Production and Commercial Endorsements.
