Multi instrumentalist wants to get together for OLDIES fun

I'm a guitarist and pianist. I find that a lot of the pop music from the 1960s and 1970s has a certain melodic richness that is possible only matched by the jazz and tin pan alley pop vocals of the previous decade. I have other projects, but this one I would like to just have fun doing covers in. One thing I miss terribly is to hear a band that plays and sings. The Beatles are an obvious example. But I'm thinking of others as well. Lulu, Dusty, Cilla, Lesley, Tina, Dionne, Nancy, Janis ( Ian, just sure --Joplin too) Shirley, Skeeter, Bobbie, Dolly, Loretta, Patsy, Aretha, Patti, Laura, Joni, Mamas & Papas, CSNY, Lovin' Spoonful, Young, Rascals, Box Tops, Classics IV, The Association, The Byrds, Cowsills, Beach Boys, BRILL BUILDING and LAUREL CANYON Ideally you have enough musical skill to get around in this style without too much difficulty, you aren't a professional type looking for work, you live close to Berkeley Are so you aren't knackered from fighting traffic.
