St. Croix Energy Solutions Inc. (SCES) is seeking candidates to air seal, insulate, and properly ventilating existing homes. SCES focuses on solving common and uncommon performance issues in homes and strives to provide the best services possible. The candidate must pay attention to details with excellent customer relation skills. Primary responsibilities include: - Maintain proper safety measures - Air seal and insulate attics, walls, rim joists, etc. - Install/vent bathroom exhaust fans. - Cleaning and maintaining company equipment and storage spaces - Conducting/Observing blower door testing for guided air sealing - Performing/Observing ventilation testing - Ensure company material and service standards are being met on each project Qualifications/Requirements - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! - Must be eager to learn and have a good work ethic. - Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks in a reasonable amount of time - Personable and easy to communicate with - Basic knowledge and experience with residential building construction and capacity to learn more - Physical ability to work on ladders and enter attics, basements and other confined areas of a home - Valid driver’s license and good driving record is a plus - Ability to backup trailer is a plus - Pass a DOT medical exam is a plus Normal start time is 6:30am or 7:30am depending on time of year. SCES is based out of Hudson. SCES provides services to the entire Metro Area and Western WI. Daily travel to Hudson and surrounding areas will be required. Compensation varies based on experience and qualifications ranging from $16-$25/hr. We will start interviewing immediately.
