We are conducting a computer science project to train a computer system to recognize human faces and hand gestures. We are looking for participants to walk around an indoor basketball court while being recorded by video cameras. This video footage will be used to train the computer system.
Since facial recognition technology is an aspect of this project, masks cannot be worn. Therefore, all participants must be FULLY vaccinated. You are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after administration of the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (e.g., Pfizer, Moderna) or two weeks after administration of a single dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson). There is also a large bay door and large industrial-grade fan that will continuously circulate fresh outside air into the facility.
We will take a break for lunch and free pizza and soda will be provided.
Casual clothing and sneakers are recommended.
All participants will be paid $100 upon conclusion of the event.
We are looking for approximately 35 people (age 18 or older) to participate in this event.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 28th in Westbury starting promptly at 11 AM and ending at 4 PM. There is a good possibility that we end before 4 PM and you still get full pay.
