This beautiful bird was found in the woods off the highway not too long ago, skinny and unable to fly well. I got him/her cleaned up, fed, and have been treating for parasites (was infested with feather lice, which seem to be very well under control now). Now that the bird is in slightly better and more stable condition, I’d like to find a great home for it. I keep other birds, but would like this to go to someone with more pigeon/dove experience and a more appropriate longterm setup. While this one is a bit shy, I think it would make a great bird for someone who’s up for the challenge of gaining its trust (or integrating it with other captive pigeons, when the time comes).
