Description
Location: Bensenville, IL (Not accessible to public transportation) Title: Receiving Coordinator Status: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM $300 sign-on bonus after the completion of a 90-day probationary period. The Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory management for incoming company products and parts, necessary for effective business operations. Responsibilities Complete incoming product inspection and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation. Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, Reject damaged items, record shortages, receive and process all defective items that are returned. Report shortages and defective products or products of questionable conditions to the department supervisor or manager. Work with the Purchasing department on backorder requirements, stock shortages, pick-up, and deliveries from and to vendors. Enter invoices into the accounting system Complete daily receiving entries and purchase orders in the inventory management system. Create and distribute reports using Excel and available reporting systems. Track the status of goods and materials using an inventory control system. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Experience A minimum of HS Diploma or GED and two years of related experience in Shipping or Receiving. Must have intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and knowledge of Google‐based programs such as google sheets/docs. Familiarity with SkuVault, inventory management system. Experience with freight carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL.
