Mutual Support Partnership

Description
I’m looking for other local solo musicians who might be interested in supporting each other in specific or general terms. This might include or lead to musical collaboration. But more than anything, I’m thinking of a group of 2 to 3 (maybe 4) folks who might be working on their own projects, but who also support each other by sharing knowledge/skills/talents/goals with each other. Maybe we share a bill on stage, or host a performance party (you know, as reasonably practicable these days—or when the time is right). Or maybe we share costs on things like a rehearsal space. Or we might contribute to each other’s recording projects. Or we might actually support each other on stage by backing each other up in a pinch. The possibilities are literally endless, as long as we like each other and get along well. If this sounds vague (and I do hope that it’s specific enough to convey the gist), it’s because here’s what’s most important to me: 1. Compatibility with respect to personalities and generally getting along. This is even more important than musical tastes or talent for what I have in mind. I will say that I am pretty calm and collected, even on a bad day. I’m pretty relaxed, and I treat people with dignity and respect. What I’m trying to say is that I hope you’re cool too. 2. That said, broadly overlapping musical interests and/or goals would definitely help. Hopefully we might have some tastes in common, or at very least not hate what each other is doing musically. 3. That’s it. No matter what you do or how well you think you do it, if our personalities and interests align, let’s support each other somehow. Reply to this posting and let me know who you are, what you do, and how my proposal strikes you. Let me know your musical goals/projects, interests, and tastes. I can respond in kind with the same. I’ll start by saying that my musical tastes are broad, but I’m definitely interested in working with people who are working on original work (not covers or tributes), and I’m not terribly interested in bluegrass or country music. Except for the Carter Family. Thank you!
