Company information: Washington Floral Service is a local family owned business operating since 1936, distributing cut flowers, plants, floral supplies and interior accents throughout the northwest. We have recently expanded our operations into Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, and need to expand our local crew as well to keep up with growth. Description of role: We are looking for a reliable person to help us ready our products for shipment to our customers on Sundays. This is a perfect part time job for someone looking for a little extra spending money. Candidates for our Warehouse position can expect to work in a warehouse setting. Duties will include keeping our warehouse clean and organized, breaking down boxes, emptying buckets of water, packing boxes, shrink wrapping pallets and loading trucks. We operate with a small close-knit team, with everyone pitching in to assist with whatever needs doing. This means you might end up doing any of a number of different tasks as needed during the day. As a candidate you should expect to multitask! Skills and Requirements: • At least 18 years of age or older • Able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly • Work on your feet for long periods of time • Able to work in a cold environment (Flower cooler) • Excellent attention to detail • Strong organizational ability • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work well independently Work Schedule: Part time, Sundays only. 7am to Done (Usually around 3pm). Exact schedule varies somewhat due to delivery volume. Possible opportunity for extra hours during the week when needed. Salary: $14-$16 per hour to start depending on experience.
