ProGro Partners is looking for motivated, independent employees for full and part-time seasonal work in our partner garden centers. The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the all merchandise is stocked, displayed, and maintained in accordance with ProGro Partners and store requirements. Essential functions: * Condense and organize product on tables and racks * Identify and remove merchandise to be marked down or disposed of * Unload plant deliveries and restock displays * Assist store personnel as needed to ensure product is fully watered * Interact with customers, competitors, store personnel, and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner * Project a professional image by complying with the ProGro Partners dress code * Communicate with managers regarding store and product conditions * Consistently demonstrate integrity, reliability, and work ethic Physical requirements: * Push and pull fully-loaded rolling delivery racks of product * Bend, crouch, and reach to unload delivery racks of product, including flats and pots up to 5-gallon size * Lean over tables and reach overhead to organize, stock, and water product * Lift and carry flats and pots of product to racks or tables (approximate 5 – 40 lbs.) * Move and lift store fixtures to build tables and displays * Work outside in varying weather conditions Additional requirements: * Minimum 16 years of age * Must have a phone and valid e-mail address
