I am a professional musician specializing in piano, organ, blues harp and vocals who hails from “South Philly”, the home of many world renowned artists. I’ve travelled the country as a band leader and performer entertaining audiences in jazz, rock and popular music. Most recently, my work has centered around solo piano and vocals, most enjoyably for Alzheimer and senior residents at area long-term care facilities. I’m also the Music & Memory facilitator at Seashore Gardens Living Center. Also, I’m actively performing in a number of tribute bands, local club and casino bands. I started studying music at 5 years old, learning the accordion as all good Italian boys did back in the day. That evolved into the piano where I switched to jazz and pop standards then moved into classical studies at Queens School of Music. I’ve studied with Ralph Federico, the Sandole Brothers, Bernard Pffier, Jimmy Amadie, Alan Pasqua and Pat Martino, along with vocal teacher Artie Singer. As a composer my music runs the gamut from jazz to rock to electronica, along with commercials, corporate and soundtrack works. Until it closed, I was partners with John Mulhern in our studio in Ventnor, Jam StudioOne Productions. I worked in production and engineering work specializing in sound design and synth programming.
