For more information, we invite you to visit our website at turnuretelecom.com. We are currently seeking all levels of DAS Technicians to support projects in Oregon. Technicians assist in the installation of in-building telecommunications systems including Distributed Antenna System projects. This position will require an individual who has a strong work ethic, is motivated to learn, and works well within a team environment. Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities: • Perform basic construction duties safely and efficiently; including using hand and power tools and lifting and handling construction materials • Installation of rack-mounted radio and DAS equipment • Installation of coaxial and fiber optic cable in various environments • Terminating and testing of coaxial and fiber optic cable • Installation of antennas and passive DAS components • Follow direction from leads and construction managers • Learn and follow industry and Turnure installation standards • Materials handling and transport • Various wireless construction activities as needed On the Job Training: • Coaxial and Optical Cable installation, support, and termination • Coaxial and Optical Cable testing: o Sweep & PIM testing o OTDR o Anritsu o Fluke • Active and Passive DAS infrastructure and equipment installation • OSHA 10 • CPR, First Aid, & AED Education and/or Experience: • High School diploma or general education degree (GED), 2-year college degree is preferred, or a minimum of 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
