Chaotic Executive Seeks Organized Assistant

Austin TX

Description

If you are organized and know how to control the home... If you are happy and flexible and like well-behaved kids... If you are a neat freak and love to cook... And you are comfortable handling chaos without having to be told what to do... Then there is a chaotic executive in Austin who would love to work with you. I'm a busy (and sometimes absent-minded) executive who is look for a full-time personal assistant to help in three areas: - personal life management (errands, light cleaning, organization, etc) - Helping 1-2x per week with kids (Girl-6 & Boy-1.5) - Managing one vacation rental The primary job is as my personal assistant; that means managing my life and one vacation rental. If you are organized enough to handle a lot going on, then you will enjoy an absurd amount of flexibility and full-time work. In an ideal world, you see problems before they happen, anticipate needs before I can speak them, and you enjoy occasional housework and cooking. Your resume is less important than your life experience. In fact, a long-time family leader or single mom, or a former pre-school teacher would be a perfect fit. My previous assistant was the CEO of a family (that is, a mom) for 19 years, and she was perfect. Prior to her, my assistant was a massage therapist and an aspiring chef. Both were with me long-term, and I hope to find the same time of stability and flexibility in my next assistant. Regarding children: my co-parenting partner and I split time between downtown and Lakeway, so some driving is necessary, and we raise our kids in a very "Austin" situation that works really well for us. Despite our flaws, we've raised two amazing kids that blow us away. When working with the kids (once or twice per week), your real job will be taking care of their mom. That usually means getting the kids out of the house. This is full time, but extremely flexible. If you have done this before, are happy, on-time and honest, and comfortable with badly behaved cats, I'd love to speak with you.
