Shadow Merchant is an established original rock band based out of Bucks County. We've been around since 2008 and have played in numerous venues in and around Philly, including the Keswick Theater, World Cafe Live, Dobbs, the North Star Bar, NJ Proghouse, Trocadero, Underground Arts, Chaplin's, etc. We were also the after-party band at the international progressive rock festival, ROSfest, in 2014 and again in 2018. Our debut CD was released in 2014, and our second album was released in 2018. Both have been well-received with numerous positive reviews in print and online music magazines. Our keyboardist retired from performing, so we are now in need of a new keyboard player- ideally, someone who can also sing (though not required). We currently practice around 3-4 times per month. Gig frequency varies. Although we are an original band, we also play covers depending on the gig. (To give an example- some of the cover songs we do play or have played include Roundabout/Heart of the Sunrise/I've Seen All Good People by Yes, Tom Sawyer/YYZ/Spirit of Radio/Closer to the Heart by Rush, Carry on Wayward Son/Point of Know Return/Hold On/Dust in the Wind by Kansas, Immigrant Song/Misty Mountain Hop/Moby Dick by Led Zeppelin, Fear of a Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree, Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd, Bring Me to Life by Evanescence, Barracuda/Magic Man by Heart, Foreplay/Longtime by Boston, Pull Me Under by Dream Theater, Fooling Yourself by Styx, among others.)
