Due to very busy schedules, we have decided it would be best for our dog, Beau, if we find him a new home. We would ideally like to see him go to someone who would like to do therapy dog work, as we think he would be well-suited to it. Otherwise, we just want him to go to somebody who can spend a lot of time with him. He is extremely loving and affectionate, and definitely deserves to be doted on more than were able to. He is UTD on shots, flea/tick medicine, and heartworm preventative. His last vet visit was in March of this year, and I can provide that paperwork. He is well mannered with our 4 young kids, gets along with other dogs (prefers low to medium energy dogs) and is even friendly to cats. He does fine on car trips (no motion sickness), and doesn't fuss over bathing or grooming. We use a professional blow dryer and it doesn't bother him in the least. I put a ton of time into his socialization and training as a puppy, and I feel like he's a very well rounded dog. We usually leave him out in the house or in our bedroom when we have to go somewhere (no crate). His one vice is that he likes to browse the trash can, so you just have to make sure it isn't accessible. He knows sit, come, stay, shake hands, and down. He enjoys playing fetch but isn't always reliable at retuning the ball. He is Standard sized, and weighs around 65 pounds. Technically, he is a mix of a Goldendoodle (dad) and a Labradoodle (mom).
