Description
We are a fast paced, ten bay Automotive repair shop located in Huntington Beach looking to hire a parts specialist. We’re looking for an individual with some previous parts/automotive experience, customer service skills, and computer knowledge to assist us in the office.
Qualifications:
- Have experience with purchasing and entering parts
- Must be very organized, time efficient, and detail oriented
- Comfortable using computers and making calls
- Be a quick learner and be willing to get trained in other tasks
- Must have a valid DL and be punctual
- Must have strong typing skills
- Positive attitude and willing to work some Saturdays
- Service Writing experience, and/or experience using the Mitchell1 system preferred but not required.
Duties:
- Parts Department: Ordering parts over the phone and online by comparing prices from various distributors, and then entering the parts onto the work invoices. Being detail oriented and organized is key in this role. May also assist with writing invoices/estimates.
- Front Office Tasks: Answering phones, helping customers both over the phone and in the front office, and driving (to drop off customers, pick up parts, etc).
.-Misc: May work on other duties as assigned
