Cast-Crete USA, LLC is Florida's leading concrete manufacturer and distributor of precast and prestressed products with branch operations located throughout the state. Prestress operations is part of our construction operation. We are currently seeking applicants to fill an open Plant Prestress Supervisor position in our Seffner facility. The Concrete Prestress Supervisor is a working supervisor and also assists in the scheduling activities of the orestress operation. This position requires long working hours and also work on weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Prestress concrete ensuring daily quotas are met by the team. • Manage schedules and manpower to ensure daily quota is met. • Assists Plant Manager in establishing and managing production schedules • Ensures completion of deadlines • Evaluates the work of laborers for the purpose of determining skill level, training needs and potential for increase • Serves as a role model for employees in regards to attendance, timeliness and loyalty • Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety standards • Promote operational excellence throughout the plant • Ensure customer satisfaction through corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement methods Background and Experience: • Previous construction and/or concrete experience (preferred) • 3-5 years’ experience in Supervisory or equivalent role • Reliability and dependability • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to delegate authority • Must have strong plant presence and be able to effectively interact with people at all levels We offer full benefits including health, dental and 401k with company match.
