Shipping/Receiving and Customer Service We are looking for the right person to fill a full-time position in our organization. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving and customer service. Duties will include the following: Provide customer service over the phone and in person. Take orders and process paperwork. Notify customers of shipments and any backorders daily. Handle all incoming and outgoing shipments, check packages for accuracy. Pull, pack and ship finished parts. Schedule Fed Ex, UPS, and LTL shipments and full truckloads. Prepare bills of ladings, check items to be shipped against work order or packing slips. Inspect Shipments for damage or defects, record discrepancies or damage Trace lost shipments and or customer claims of lost shipments Maintain inventory, work with purchasing to maintain the level of items needed. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Basic skills in Microsoft office preferred. Must have EXCELLENT customer service skills! Must be highly productive! Must be a team player and work well under pressure! Must have a positive attitude! Excellent attendance is a must! This position will include a variety of tasks and may include travel to various job locations.
